Who is covered
Section 3 of your group health policy describes in detail the individuals who are eligible for coverage. It explains when those individuals become eligible for coverage, when their coverage begins, and when coverage ends.
In general, the individuals listed below may be covered under the group health policy. In some cases, these individuals must meet certain criteria to qualify for coverage. Please refer to Section 3 of the policy for specific coverage information.
- Current active employees
- New employees
- Employees who retire at age 55 or older
- Employees on paid leave of absence
- Your dependents
- Newborn child
- Newly adopted child
- Legal wards
