Which plan do I have?

The Trust offers school district employees and their families a selection of health plans. If you have a Point of Service or Preferred Provider (Trust Preferred) health plan, it is indicated in large type at the top of your WEA Trust ID card.

For the Preferred Provider plan cards, you will see "Trust Preferred" on the upper right-hand side of your ID card. For the Point of Service plans, a small logo indicating your regional Network is displayed on the front, right side of your card.
If the front, right side of your ID card is blank, you are enrolled in a Front-End Deductible, Health Conversion, or WEA-MedPlus plan. Your Benefit Summary or Policy, distributed at the time of enrollment, also indicates your plan.

If you can't determine which plan you have, please call our Customer Service Department toll-free at (800) 279-4000 between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. During the summer, our hours are 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 7:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
Front-End Deductible
All covered services are subject to deductible and coinsurance amounts. Therefore, we reimburse the reasonable and customary cost of covered services, less applicable deductible and coinsurance amounts.

Health Conversion
The Health Conversion Plan is a health insurance plan that is available only to individuals who are no longer eligible for a WEA Trust employer-sponsored group health insurance plan or whose legally-mandated continuation coverage, often referred to as COBRA coverage, has ended.
If you become eligible for the Health Conversion Plan, we will send you an application, along with benefit and premium rate information.
