FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who can use the WEA Trust Home Delivery Service for ordering prescriptions?
Anyone who is an eligible member of a WEA Trust drug plan.

How quickly will I receive my prescription?
New prescriptions typically arrive within 10-14 days from the day you mail your prescription. Allow 10 days for refills ordered by phone or online.

How are my prescriptions mailed?
The most common method of shipment is through the U.S. Postal Service. To speed up shipping once your prescription process is complete, you can select Next Day or Second Day delivery at an additional cost.

How are my prescriptions packaged?
The delivery package cannot be opened or resealed without showing evidence of tampering. The mailing label does not show that the package came from a pharmacy.

I am out of refills. What should I do?
Ask your doctor to write you a new prescription. Allow up to 14 days to receive your order. If you know you will run out of your medication before you receive your order, ask your doctor to write two prescriptions: (1) for the maximum supply limit allowed by your plan for the home delivery service and (2) for a short-term supply to be filled at your local retail pharmacy while your mail order is being processed.

What if I need my medication while I'm on vacation?
If you need your medicine shipped to a temporary address, indicate that on the order form or call Caremark customer service at (866) 818-6912. You can also call the Trust at (800) 279-4000 to request an early refill on your medication. Please call us with this request at least 30 days before you need the refill.

Should I use the Home Delivery Service for obtaining medications for short-term treatment or medicine that I need to start taking immediately?
We recommend that you go to your local retail pharmacist for short-term treatment or prescriptions that must begin immediately.

I don't have e-mail. What should I do about registering at caremark.com?
If you have Internet access, consider setting up a free e-mail account through services such as yahoo.com or hotmail.com.

Will I be able to also use my retail pharmacy after I have used the Home Delivery Service?
Yes. Go to your retail pharmacy, present your Trust insurance ID card, and either your new prescription, the refill slip from your last order, or the container with the label containing the prescription number.
