| Make Life Events a valued resource |
 The Internet is an excellent source of information, but it can also be overwhelming. While information is readily accessible, how do you know which information to believe?
As part of the WEA Trust’s mission of providing financial security for WEAC members, the Trust has launched a new section at our Web site called Life Events. The site provides information on major life events that most of us will experience at some point (finding a job, having a baby, buying a home or car, preparing to retire, etc.).
The Trust built this online section using resources from trusted partners—WEA Trust Member Benefits, WEAC, and WEAC Credit Union—to provide information on various topics. In other instances where it makes sense, we provide links to reputable sources of information (Medicare, WRS, Social Security, etc.), which help make Life Events a one-stop information source.
The site is accessible to anyone—you don’t have to have a Trust benefit plan. No registration is necessary to browse the site; however, by completing a brief registration, you can benefit from a unique profile to track your events and receive updates as information is added.
What you will see at Life Events is the first step in an ongoing development process. Over time, based on feedback and interest, we will continue to expand and enhance the information.
